You might not have the British Library at the top of your list as an entrepreneurial resource, but I’ve recently found that it has excellent materials and support for the entrepreneur, especially where intellectual property (IP) matters are involved.

One of the British Library’s key offerings is an hour-long advice session with an expert in business and intellectual property issues to talk through an entrepreneur’s business idea and to supply information and details of organisations that can help develop an idea into business fruition. To benefit, you need to have a very clear idea of what your business or product will be – and to be ready to turn it from idea to reality.
